A focused report helps support identify the problem and recommend the right fix. Use the app’s support option or the website’s contact page.
Describe the problem
Include:
- What you were trying to do and what happened instead.
- Whether you used the web app or Google Workspace add-on.
- The browser and operating system.
- The signed-in account or billing email relevant to the issue.
- The approximate time the problem occurred, including your time zone.
- The exact error text, if shown.
For example: “In the web app, refreshing my Doc succeeds, but Sync slide fails on slide 4 with this error. I expected the managed slide to update.”
Include steps to reproduce
List the actions in order: open the Doc, select the presentation, choose the control, and observe the result. Say whether the issue affects one slide, one document, or every document you tried.
Mention checks already completed, such as confirming Google Drive access, reconnecting the session, or checking presentation capacity.
Add useful screenshots
Capture the affected preview, the menu or action used, and the error message. For layout issues, include the corresponding Google Doc structure with paragraph styles visible. For billing issues, include a receipt reference rather than payment details.
Crop or redact unrelated confidential content. Do not send passwords, access tokens, card numbers, or private sign-in links.
Share file references carefully
A document or presentation URL helps identify the workflow but does not grant access by itself. If support needs a sample, use a minimal copy with non-sensitive content where practical and follow any access instructions provided.
Keep the original workflow and tracking records available while the issue is investigated. Deleting records or unlinking output can make a sync problem harder to diagnose.
