Cards turn lists and subsections into visual groups. Their structure comes from your Google Doc, while contextual controls determine how the groups are arranged and styled.
Choose the arrangement
- Open a slide with a list, subsections, or image cards.
- Select its layout control.
- Choose among the supported arrangements for that slide, such as grid, vertical, timeline, or ring.
- Adjust Cards per slide and spacing where available.
- Review the order and amount of content on each resulting slide.
Style the cards
Select a card to adjust its shape, fill, border, radius, or accent. A fill helps separate the card from the background; a border or accent can provide a lighter emphasis. Check that text and images remain readable against the chosen colors.
Text inside a card has its own controls. Select the heading or body when you want to change typography rather than the container.
Choose markers and icons
Select a marker to change its type, placement, size, or appearance. Use icon search to choose a suitable symbol. Where offered, Auto-populate icons fills eligible card icons automatically; review the choices afterward.
List-symbol controls let you adjust supported bullet and number styles.
Apply settings to other cards or matching slides using the scope dialog. Start with one representative slide so you can judge the result before applying it widely.
