A table is useful for exact values. A chart can make a comparison or trend easier to see. SlideAdmin provides chart controls for supported tables in the preview.

Prepare the source table

In Google Docs, use a clear table with descriptive labels and consistent numeric values. Keep the table focused on the data you want to visualize. Refresh the previews after editing the data.

Choose a chart view

  1. Select the table or chart in the slide preview.
  2. Open the chart-type controls.
  3. Choose an available type suited to the data, such as a comparison or trend chart.
  4. Review which labels and series the result uses.
  5. Adjust the chart settings offered for that type.

Available chart choices depend on the table and its data. If the result is misleading or a type is unavailable, simplify the source table or keep the table view.

Check the result

Verify that values, labels, categories, and series correspond to the source. Check readability at presentation size and use clear colors that distinguish the series.

Edit the actual data in Google Docs, then refresh. Chart styling controls change the display; they do not replace the source table’s values.

Reuse settings

Use the chart menu’s apply action to copy settings to other tables in the scope shown. Review the other charts afterward, because different tables may need different visualizations. The reset action returns the covered chart settings to their defaults.
