Keep your presentation’s palette, logos, and background assets together in Branding. These assets support consistent appearance as you add or revise content. Set them up before applying detailed styling across slides.
Prepare your assets
Choose clear logo files and background images at a resolution suitable for a full slide. Keep alternate logos for light and dark backgrounds if needed. For background images, leave enough quiet space for text.
Add colors and images
- Open Branding in the editor.
- Set the brand palette and use Apply brand palette when you want it applied to the document appearance.
- Upload the logos and slide backgrounds you intend to use.
- Return to a slide and select an asset through its contextual controls.
Check how the brand appears
Review contrast between text, cards, accents, and backgrounds. Place logos where they do not compete with content. Select a secondary logo variant on slides where the primary version is hard to see.
A palette supplies colors; it does not guarantee that every local customization will match. Inspect elements that still use a different color and adjust or reset their contextual settings.
Make the design reusable
Once the document appearance is ready, create a custom theme using Current document snapshot as the starting point. Review the builder examples before saving.
Adding assets to SlideAdmin is separate from sharing source Docs and output Slides in Google Drive. Check access for collaborators who need to use the same workflow.
